When Donald Boyd was in 7th grade his families house caught on fire and they put them up in Hotel Clovis while the family home was being repaired.  One day after school we went racing down to Hotel Clovis to check out the place his family was staying. We had a detour at drug store to buy some balloons to fill with water. We thought it would be a great idea to drop a few water balloons from the top floor of the hotel apartment down to the bar. The first guy we saw down below about got a water ballon on his noggin, and he promptely went to the front desk and moments later a swift knock on the door. Yes, it was the hotel manager asking lots of questions. I suddenly had to go home. LOL good thing no one was hurt from that stunt.
